Thanks to shocktillyoudrop.com and bloody-disgusting.com for premiering the trailer for Alex's new film RED SANDS.

Alex is now being represented by High Line Films for commercial and music video work.

Check it - DEAD BIRDS is on iTunes. Now you can watch it on your iPod.

THE STONE HOUSE title has been changed yet again - after being changed to just STONE HOUSE back in May - Sony/Stage 6 has decided that the title RED SANDS will make the film easier to market. So there you have it - THE STONE HOUSE (AKA: STONE HOUSE) is now RED SANDS, thus ensuring Alex's 2nd feature will join DEAD BIRDS as having the dubious distinction of having one of the most ill-conceived movie titles ever.

THE STONE HOUSE completed principal photography on September 5th, 2007 after a whirlwind 23 day shoot. The cast includes Shane West, Brendan Miller, Aldis Hodge, Leonard Roberts, Callum Blue, JK Simmons, Theo Rossi and Noel G.

Bloody-disgusting.com posted some new images from THE STONE HOUSE which you can see HERE.

Variety mentions that Sony Pictures Stage 6 will be releasing THE STONE HOUSE sometime in 2008.

Alex's father Pete Turner has a new book out called THE COLOR OF JAZZ. The book showcases 100 covers and their art in close to original size; many of the covers are rare and out-of-print, now collector's items, and connect to a who's who of musical legends from Count Basie, John Coltrane, and Stan Getz, to Quincy Jones, Freddie Hubbard, and Steely Dan. Petty cool, no? It's an insanely great book filled with images that will sear themselves permanently into your brain.

Turner's two short films, CHUCK and DISPOSAL, are now available on DVD. To purchase DISPOSAL click HERE. To puchase a copy of CHUCK click HERE.

DEAD BIRDS screened at the 2006 H.P. LOVECRAFT FILM FESTIVAL. Check out a couple of photos HERE.

DISPOSAL has been added to IFC TV's short film rotation. Watch for rare chance to see what Film Threat calls "a chilling little slice of mayhem".

Reviews of DEAD BIRDS keep coming in. DVD Dungeon says "Dead Birds is a movie that should be celebrated on DVD". Here's another good one, from The Austin Chronicle, which calls DEAD BIRDS "one of the most original cinematic nightmares in years". We've archived some of the press links HERE.
